Functieomschrijving Truckdriver
Would you like to make an impact on the road? You can do so as a truck driver at Consolid. Here’s what the job looks like:
- You load and unload at distribution centers and supermarkets. The loads mostly consist of pallets (both refrigerated and non-refrigerated), which you load and unload using an electric pallet truck. You’ll also take any return loads back with you.
- If you encounter any issues, a planner is always available to assist you. Throughout the day, you will stay in contact with your planner via the onboard computer and phone.
- Retail distribution operates 24/7, so we appreciate it if you work a weekend day regularly or as part of your routine. This will, of course, be compensated with a day off during the week.
- You’ll continuously improve your driving skills. You’ll travel long distances on highways and then navigate through narrow village streets.
- You primarily work day shifts, starting between 04:00 and 06:00 AM, with your shift typically finishing in the afternoon.
Functie-eisen Truckdriver
Are you ready to work as a driver in retail distribution? Check if you meet the following requirements:
- You have a CE driving license and a valid Code 95 (or are in the process of obtaining it).
- You are social, accurate, agile, and punctual.
- You enjoy the hustle and bustle of driving in urban areas.
- Working on weekends or public holidays is no problem for you.
- You speak Dutch or English.
- You live within a 45-minute commute from your base location.
